Saber Interactive announced a few weeks ago that a new update was coming for Evil Dead: The Game that would include Mia from Fede Alvarez‘s Evil Dead remake as a playable character. We now know that she will be coming to the game on September 8th.
Mia was played by Jane Levy in the 2013 movie, and she was the only survivor of the film. She went through one hell of a nightmarish blood-drenched experience.
The developers offer some new details, teasing, “All that anger, all that terror – now, she’s learned how to use them. Her abilities include converting her own fear into damage and complete resistance to demon possession. Beware demon players! Mia is uniquely suited to take you down.”
You can preview Mia’s character model and movie-based outfits in the video that was shared below!

Evil Dead: The Game features single-player and co-op gameplay, promising to be the ultimate Evil Dead experience in the world of video games. Several characters from the movies and TV series are playable in the game at launch, along with four different versions of Deadite-slaying horror hero Ash Williams.
In the game, “Work together as a team of four survivors, exploring, looting, crafting, managing your fear, and finding key artifacts to seal the breach between worlds. Or take control of the powerful Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves as you seek to swallow their souls.”
