During Lucasfilm’s big presentation at D23 Expo this weekend, Harrison Ford came out on stage to introduce the very first trailer for Indiana Jones 5, and it did not disappoint! This James Mangold-directed movie looks like it’s going to deliver the goods!
Harrison Ford got pretty emotional has he talked about this movie, because this will be the last time that we see him play Indiana Jones. He said: “Thank you for making these films such an incredible experience for all of us. I’m very proud to say to say that this one is fantastic. [Points at Waller-Bridge] And this is one of the reasons.”
He added: “Indiana Jones movies are about fantasy and mystery, but they’re also about heart. We have a really great story to tell, as well as a movie that will kick your ass.”
He concluded by saying: “This is it. I will not fall down for you again. But thank you so much.”
Steven Spielberg is producing the film and the ensemble cast includes Antonia Banderas, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, and Shaunette Renée Wilson.
