Jason Bateman (Ozark) has jumped back into the Netflix party with a new action thriller being produced by Amblin titled Carry On. Bateman joins Taron Egerton in the film, which will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Black Adam, Orphan) from a script by TJ Fixman and Michael Green.
The story centers on Ethan Kopek, “a young TSA agent who gets blackmailed by a mysterious traveler to let a dangerous package slip through security and onto a Christmas Day flight.” Bateman is said to be playing the mysterious traveler in the film.
I’m sure that Bateman and Egerton will be great in the movie. Bateman recently wrapped production on a film from Amazon Prime Video that focuses on Nike’s pursuit of Michael Jordan in the 1980s. That film stars Matt Damon and was directed by Ben Affleck.
