Paramount+ has dropped the first trailer for the Criminal Minds series revival, Criminal Minds: Evolution, and it has a very different tone than the original series! This feels much darker and more disturbing than anything we’ve seen from the series before, and I dig it.
The crime drama series follows BAU’s elite profilers as they face a mysterious antagonist, an UnSub who used the pandemic to build a network of serial killers. When the network is set in motion, the team must bring down their greatest threat, one murderer at a time.
This is the BAU’s biggest case ever, “and the deeper they dig, the darker it gets. Let the mind games begin.”
Original cast members include Joe Mantegna (David Rossi), A.J. Cook (JJ Jareau), Kirsten Vangsness (Penelope Garcia), Aisha Tyler (Dr. Tara Lewis), Adam Rodriguez (Luke Alvez), and Paget Brewster (Emily Prentiss). They are joined by newcomer Zach Gilford (Elias Voit).
