This video gives us a visualization of what it would look like to take a trip around the Earth while traveling at the speed of light. It’s pretty insane when you see it! Whenever we see light speed in movies, it doesn’t really give you a sense of what light speed really would be like in a real world setting, but this video gives that to us and it’s fascinating and mind-blowing!
Light travels at 299,792,458 meters per second and it would take 0.13 seconds for light to complete one full trip around the world. Check out the video below and don’t blink or you’ll miss the journey!
