Below you’ll find a teaser trailer for a super cool short film inspired by Masters of the Universe titled Teela and the Masters of the Universe. This is a proof-of-concept self-audition tape, and it looks pretty damn radical!
The short stars Emily Ashby as Teela, "a heroic warrior of Eternia, who “protects the Sword of Power from three wanderers in an action-packed fight to claim its power for themselves.”
It’s explained that this is “a one-of-a-kind self-tape audition for the role of Teela in the announced Masters of the Universe film, and is not a fan film. The full short film will be released on YouTube on January 11, 2023, so stay tuned because we’re going to share it here!
The film was produced and directed by Jonathan Martin, and it’s based on the character created by Mark Taylor.
