Jeremy Renner recently shared a video update for his fan for all his fans from his hospital bed in the ICU where he's recovering from his terrifying accident. The video features the actor getting cleaned up for the first time “in a week or so.” He looks a little out of it, but he’s in good spirits which is great to see.

Renner sustained blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries after a snowplowing accident. We’ve learned from Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve that Renner was helping plow a private road used by his family and his neighbors. It’s explained that he then stopped his Snowcat plow to help a stranded motorist, who was identified as a family member. Renner reportedly exited the snowplow he was driving, and it ended up sliding forward and injured Renner as he attempted to stop the 14,000-pound vehicle.

Schieve told the Reno Gazette-General, "He was helping someone stranded in the snow. He is always helping others. He's always calling and saying, 'Hey Mayor, what do you need?'"

Washoe County Sherriff's Office previously released the following statement: "We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023. He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.”
