Square Enix has announced that Life Is Strange 2 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch on February 2, 2023 and is available for preorder now on the Nintendo eShop.
Play through the story of sixteen year old Sean Diaz, a normal kid from the suburbs of Seattle. When his younger brother Daniel’s telekinetic powers are unleashed by a traumatic incident, Sean must take Daniel and abandon his home and everything they knew. Flee from the police as you try to keep Daniel safe from dangerous people while attempting to reach Mexico.
My introduction to the Life Is Strange franchise was True Colors which I absolutely loved. Unfortunately I was still in the middle of the first game when Stadia was shut down, but I was enjoying it. Each game has such an interesting premise, and I love how focused on story telling the games in general are. You don’t get bogged down with anything too difficult to succeed at, so while the games aren’t great for people looking for challenging gameplay, they are fantastic for those who want an intriguing story and to make choices that feel like they really matter. I’m excited that the games have come to the Nintendo Switch and would highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t already. Check out the announcement trailer below and let me know what you think.
