While we continue to patiently wait for The Mandalorian Season 3 to premiere, Pedro Pascal is out there hyping it up and making us wish that we didn’t have to wait any longer for it! During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the actor teased some things we can expect to see from the next season including more Mandalorians, and an epic battle!
"I will say, there will be more Mandalorians, a lot of them. There will be an epic battle…Plural? Maybe?”
We’ve seen some of these things teased in the trailers for the series, but maybe it will be even bigger than what we’re seeing! When asked about his little yet powerful companion and friend, Pascal said:
"Grogu is very good. Still learning, teaching, protected, protecting. I think if I say anything more, I'll be replaced. Like not just as The Mandalorian, but as a human being in life.”
In Season 3 of the series, “The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”
This third season sees the journey of Din Djarin traveling to Mandalore where Mando hopes that he will be "forgiven for his transgressions." It also sees Mando stepping into a leadership position, and Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff) is dealing with the disappointment of not taking back the Darksaber.
The series also stars Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Giancarlo Esposito. The directors of the eight-episode Season 3 include Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey and Bryce Dallas Howard.
The series comes from Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Rachel Morrison, Lee Isaac Chung, Carl Weathers, Peter Ramsey and Bryce Dallas Howard. It will premiere on Disney+ on March 1st!
