Ridley Scott and Scott Free Productions are getting into the thrilling world of true crime with their latest project. The legendary filmmaker is joining forces with ABC News Studios to executive produce a four-part documentary series for Hulu, Still Missing Morgan.
Get ready for a gripping tale of two parallel kidnapping cases that have left investigators stumped for decades. The series focuses on the tragic disappearance of six-year-old Morgan Nick, who vanished while playing just feet away from her mother in the summer of 1995. The heart-wrenching story follows the new leads uncovered by investigators in 2020, leading to the first dramatic shift in the case in 25 years.
The series also explores the similarly devastating case of Jacob Wetterling, who went missing six years prior to Morgan's disappearance. The two mothers, Colleen Nick and Patty Wetterling, share their chillingly parallel experiences of losing a child and what it's like to live without answers.
The series will take you on a journey with the FBI Evidence Recovery Team as they search for answers and possibly name the most-likely abductor.
Still Missing Morgan seems like a must-watch for true crime enthusiasts. I’m not familiar with this case, but I’ll be quite familiar with it soon when it’s released on February 16th.
