I love that NASA is now releasing poster art to promote its missions. This poster is for the upcoming Artemis II Moon mission that will see four astronauts blast off into space and take a journey around the Moon. That sounds like a great time!

This is a pretty big deal and it’s fun that NASA is promoting the whole thing like a Hollywood blockbuster movie. I’m sure that a trailer for the event will follow. I would sure love to be a part of NASA’s marketing team right now.

The four astronauts that will embark on this space adventure include Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, Mission Specialist I Christina Hammock Koch, and Jeremy Hansen as Mission Specialist II.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said at a press conference:

"The Artemis II crew represents thousands of people working tirelessly to bring us to the stars. This is their crew, this is our crew, this is humanity's crew. NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Hammock Koch, and CSA astronaut Jeremy Hansen, each has their own story, but, together, they represent our creed: E pluribus unum – out of many, one. Together, we are ushering in a new era of exploration for a new generation of star sailors and dreamers – the Artemis Generation."

The launch will take place next November, so the team has plenty of time to prepare for the mission. The Artemis II mission is expected to last around 10 days, While those on the crew won't return to the lunar surface—something being saved for Artemis III in 2025—they will be the humans to travel furthest in space since Apollo 13 in 1970. This is so cool!
