Nicolas Cage has landed another movie gig! He’s set to star in a horror thriller titled Longlegs. There aren’t any details to share in regard to the story, but it’s said to be “in the vein of classic Hollywood psychological thrillers.”
The movie will be written and directed by Osgood Perkins (Gretel & Hansel) for Jason Cloth and Dave Caplan’s C2 Motion Picture Group. The project will start shooting in 2023.
Nicolas Cage is a madman when it comes to his acting work, and he’s recently had a streak of great and entertaining films! He’s working so much these days and, for the most part, the projects that he decides to take on are incredibly unique and so much fun to watch. He’s on a role and I hope he continues to take on these kinds of projects!
The fact that Cage has signed on to star in and produce Longlegs tells me that it’s going to be something wild and different. The movie is also being produced by Dan Kagan (Significant Other), Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Insidious), Dave Caplan (The End We Start From) and Chris Ferguson (Child’s Play).
Cage has got several films coming up that include Old Old Way, The Retirement Plan, Renfield, Sympathy for the Devil, Dream Scenario, and San and Stones. Bring on the Nicolas Cage movies!
