Amazon has released the first trailer for Prime Video's upcoming Nike drama Air, and it sees Ben Affleck and Matt Damon reunite to tell the true story of how Nike signed rookie Michael Jordan to his very first endorsement deal.

The movie is described as a “moving story” that follows the “career-defining gamble of an unconventional team with everything on the line, the uncompromising vision of a mother who knows the worth of her son’s immense talent, and the basketball phenom who would become the greatest of all time.”

Affleck directs the film and also stars as Nike co-founder Phil Knight. Damon takes on the role of Sonny Vaccaro, the sneaker salesman who believed Michael Jordan was going to be the big basketball star that he became. The movie also stars Jason Bateman as Nike executive Rob Strasser and Chris Tucker as Howard White, former college basketball player and Nike junior executive. Viola Davis plays Deloris Jordan, the mother of the basketball legend.

The cast also includes Marlon Wayans as George Raveling, the first Black basketball coach in the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Pacific-10, and Chris Messina as David Falk, who was Jordan’s first agent and also the man often credited with creating the name "Air Jordan."

This looks like a great film and it’s set to hit select theaters on April 5th before it heads to Prime Video.
