Keanu Reeves has been saying for a while that he has always wanted to play Wolverine. He’s had such an awesome career and he’s going to play some pretty amazing roles like John Wick, where he gets to be a total badass! But, to see him take on Wolverine would be quite a sight to see.
Reeves recently shared again that Wolverine is a character that he would have loved to play. During a recent Reddit AMA, Reeves was asked if he had a role that he regretted turning down and this what his response:
"...No...but I did always want to play Wolverine."
I seriously doubt we’ll ever see Keanu Reeves in the role of Wolverine. But, if it did happen, I could see him popping in as a variant of the character for a brief scene. That might be the extent of it if it happened. If it did happen, I just imagine a John Wick/Wolverine mashup where we seen him go berserker rage with claws and guns.
Hugh Jackman is come back to reprise his role as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, but Marvel Studios is sure to cast another actor in the role at some point with the reboot of X-Men coming, but we didn’t know who’s that will be.
