As soon as Cocaine Bear was announced, I think we all knew that the film would inspire a slew of movies about animals that get high on drugs and kill people. The Asylum has now announced its first drug-fueled animal movie with Attack of the Meth Gator.
The Asylum is the same production company that made the Sharknado films along with a bunch of other terribly-made D-movies like Snakes on a Train, Transmorphers, and Z Nation. The announcement came on Twitter with a poster and the following caption:
"Hold our bear... I mean, beer. Coming for your life this summer.”
There are no details to share regarding the story, but you can just look at the poster and pretty much know exactly how the film is going to play out. After the alligator is high on meth his eyes turn red, and he’s going to go on a murderous rampage for more.
Someone responded on Twitter with, "Please tell me this real and not a joke," and the studio replied: "This is real! We're pumping the meth into Florida's fresh water reserves as we speak!"
So get ready for the alligator on meth movie!
Hold our bear… I mean, beer.
