A new TV spot for Shazam! Fury of the Gods is currently running and the big thing about this one is that it features a big DC superhero character, and if you clicked through to read this, then you wanted to know that it is Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman!

Studios usually save this kind of stuff for audiences when they go watch the actual movie in theaters, but I guess they thought putting Wonder Woman in the marketing would help get people to theaters to watch the movie.

When previously talking about getting Gadot to show up in the film as Wonder Woman, Zachary Levi said: "I think getting a cameo from anybody would be super cool, but I just think Gal Gadot is so effervescent. She has such a charm. And she seems like a really cool broad. Like, she was in the Israeli army. She's a mom. And I'm like, 'You seem like you're grounded and cool, and you're Wonder Woman, and you rock.' And I think it would be really funny to have the 14-year-old Billy Batson inside of Shazam that's really awkward around this beautiful Amazonian. I just think that would be really awesome."

The movie “will continue the story of teenage Billy Batson, who upon reciting the magic word ‘SHAZAM!’ is struck by the Living Lightning of the gods and transformed into his adult superhero alter ego, Shazam. He has the powers of six gods: the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles, and the speed of Mercury.”

Billy Batson and his foster siblings, who can all transform into superheroes, jump into action and fight against the Daughters of Atlas to save the world from a weapon that could destroy it.

David F. Sandberg is back as the director and the characters and cast in the film include Billy Baston (Asher Angel and Levi), Freddy (Jack Dylan Grazer and Adam Brody), Eugene (Ian Chen and Ross Butler), Pedro (Jovan Armand and D.J. Cotrona), Darla (Faithe Herman and Meagan Good), and Mary (Grace Fulton and Michelle Borth). Helen Mirren is taking on the role of Hespera and Lucy Liu is playing Kalypso.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods will hit theaters on March 17th, 2023.
