I’ve got a 3D animated video here for you to watch that compares the speed of real and fictional civilian and military aircraft. The video was created by Red Side and the video also notes the aircraft’s name, its maker, and the speed at which it is going.
As a fan of jets and military aircraft, I thought this was really cool! The slowest craft featured in the video is the Santos-Dumont aircraft from 1906, which moved at 40km (~25mph). The fastest is the SR-72 Darkstar from the film Top Gun: Maverick, which flew at an insane Mach 10. The video came with the note:
